(More customer reviews)I bought this chair about 12 years ago - it lasted over 9 years - outside in SW Florida. For the past 2 years I've been looking for the same chair, but hadn't kept the name of the company. I purchased a couple of other chairs which LOOKED like these, but they were so small and uncomfortable, I ended up giving them away (they cost too much to ship back). I was thrilled when I FINALLY found this chair again - and the seller actually had kept a record of my last order - so I knew they were the same.
First off, the price is unbelievable. And, as I said, they last a long, long time. But most importantly, they are SO roomy and comfortable - even though I've 'grown' (width-wise) over the past years. (Also, I'm about 5'8"). Because the front is rounded, it doesn't cut into the back of your legs.
They're very easy to assemble - it's best to have someone help hold it for one of the steps. I did put the first one together by myself; I called the seller and he was very friendly and helpful.
I spray painted the first set I purchased a melon color, and everyone in the neighborhood commented on the great chairs I had out front. I don't know if spray paint is the best way to go.. it will chip. Stain may be the recommended way to go, but I don't mind the chipping 'shabby chic' look. I also loved the bright color, so I'm going use spray paint again.
He also has a cute table to go with. I sill have the table I purchased 12 years ago - which is how I finally found him (with the help of Google images) - it's a little different than other tables, and another GREAT purchase. He may still make a leg rest.
I highly recommend these.
