First of all, I have to admit, this was awkward for me to assemble myself.. but I did it. I usually reinforce wood furnishing with a touch of wood glue when assembling. I didn't with this chair, so it creaks a bit. I've had it for a couple of months now. It gets a LOT of use and it's holding up well.
I would like to point out that this is not a classic Adirondack chair design. So if you're used to that this one will feel different. The back sits up straighter and the seat is shorter. Keep in mind that it's designed to be used with the ottoman and it's much more comfortable with the ottoman.
Mine arrived with two damaged legs (the wood planks were split down the middle) which needed to be replaced. So I called the supplier. Their customer service was very good and the replacements were free of charge.
